Good Morning,
To expand on my question further:
I understand that in order to configure my SAML configuation, this can be done under the security tab > SAML page located within the admin.businessname.net portal.
From what I understand so far, configurations, like SAML can only be configured from the admin portal, not the production or POC environment -- Is this correct, or is there a way to test a SAML configuration from the POC environment only?
Hey @Matt Sardi ,
Have you considered to just set it up on your Production environment and only add the Authentication policy to a single (test) user?
https://www.atlassian.com/software/access/guide/authentication-policies
This way the mechanism is there, you'll claim the accounts (not part of but a pre-requisite for Atlassian Access) and only set up the SSO part for certain users (which you can assign thru the policy)
Hey @Dirk Ronsmans
I have considered this but, if possible, would like to leave my production environment alone if at all possible.
From what you're saying, it sounds like I'm correct in that there is no way to actually test a different SAML configuration without inevitably affecting production?
