The organization is getting reorganization and we defined a new workflows and fields to each issue type and projects and I want to implement it without garbage from the past but letting people access to the old data.
Wee are in Jira cloud premium, most of projects on scrum some with Kanban.
Thank you!
Hello @Nissim Ariel
Based on my understanding, reorganizing your Jira instance to align with new workflows and fields while maintaining access to old data can be done efficiently by separating historical data from the new setup.
One approach is to archive the current projects and create new ones with the updated workflows, fields, and configurations. This way, teams can access historical data in the archived projects while working on a clean slate in the new ones.
P.S. Jira Cloud Premium offers tools like advanced roadmaps and automation that can help streamline the transition process.
Where can i find the archived projects after archiving them?
And another important thing - how to reset setting of field and workflows so I could start them from beginning?
would regular users be able to access it?
