I need to change the Project Leader

Hello, I would like to request a change of project leader for a Jira project. The current leader has retired, but the leadership has not been updated in Jira. As a result, we are unable to contact her, and I do not have the rights to take over the leadership of this Jira project.

Hi @Villatte and welcome to the Community!

This is something you would need to request internally with your organisation's Jira Admin. Most likely, that should be someone in your internal IT organisation.

Here in community, most of us are Atlassian users like yourself and we don't have access to your environment.

Since the current project lead has retired and you don’t have the rights to make changes, you’ll need to reach out to a Jira admin in your organization to update the project lead. If you’re not sure who that is, your IT or internal support team should be able to help.
