I only receive notifications from issues I watch on the android app but not in desktop version

I only receive notifications from issues I watch on the android app but not in desktop version. I don't understand why since I'm watching the issue.

Also, I prefer the notifications directly on Jira instead of receiving emails and that works fine but I only receive notifications when I am mentioned.

I also tried to look in the 'watching' tab under 'notifications' but still I only see the notifications (that I'm not mentioned) on my android app...

Just to make sure I understand you correctly: you are watching issues and receive notifications on those issues in your App, but you don't get the same notifications on the Web-App?

Notifications are set on Project basis. Depending on the configurations, watchers are notified on certain events or not. In your personal settings you can only subscribe to less, but never more than you are subscribed to per Project config.

Have you checked your personal Notification settings on each, App and Web-App?

Thank you so much for helping me, yes, I am watching issues and receive notifications on those issues in my App, but I don't get the same notifications on the Web-App, 

I understand that notifications are set on Project basis but why would I get them in the mobile app and not the web app since I set the 'Watch your issues' under 'Personnal settings' as 'Enabled' on the web app ?

The "watch your issues" option only automatically adds you as Watcher on the issues you are editing/creating/working on.

You will have to edit 

You should still receive the notifications under the "Bell" icon on the website, even with deactivated Email notifications.
