Lets say, this is a filter of bugs which are either of High priority or critical priority.
If today it has 100 tickets, tomorrow if someone logs anything new or changes a previously logged ticket to critical or high priority, I would like to be notified, so that I can take action on that (either ask why it was moved without asking me or assign someone who can work on that)
is that any automation in jira which can help me on this?
I've Jira-slack intergration which I actively use to see if any new bugs are created, but I could not get around the above specific requirement.
The most simple way to do this would be to take a copy of your filter and add something like "and updated > -1h", then subscribe to the new filter on an hourly basis (or whatever cycle you want - adjust the -1h to match)
You'll then get emailed with the list regularly.
