I know with JIRA server you have the access to database and you can configure your "Sprint" field in a way you can know all historical sprints an issue has completed.
E.g When you will go to a story and look at Sprint field, it will show "sprint 1, sprint 2, sprint 3... sprint 5" if the issue kept moving from one sprint to another.
I am using JIRA cloud at the moment and want to know how can I achieve the same. I want to be able to see past sprints issues have completed to understand spillover trend.
Hi Manish, I just checked and the history is shown which is what I expected. Below is the new issue view of one example. I click on the “+5” in my case and it expands to show the other sprints.
could you check if it is JIRA server or cloud? we are using JIRA cloud and I can see only current active sprint. if you are using JIRA could as well, it might need some sort of configuration to show all historical sprints, I just could not figure out how to configure it that way.

Maybe, you choose the issue that was only in one sprint. Because I haven't do specific settings, but this data available if for me. Have you permission to manage sprints?

I have permission to manage sprints.
I was referring to issues which have been spilling over for a very long time and I am not able to see the historical sprints.

Can you share a similar screenshot of what you are or are not seeing?

If you see this screenshot, the issue was created many months ago and has been spilling over since past many sprints. But when you look at the sprint field, you can only see the current sprint and not the history of sprints.
