Hello,
I'm looking to add some quick filters which I can show above my backlog in a team-managed software project. But currently I can only find something called 'custom filters'. While they look the same, I actually want to show them as buttons above the backlog like I have in my other project (which is a company-managed software project). Is this a feature specifically for company-managed projects? Or did you change something recently?
Thank you in advance,
Best regards,
Pieter
Hi @pieter thijs
Team-managed project boards include a similar feature to quick filters called custom filters. Project admins configure the filters using JQL and they appear as checkboxes on the board.
Yes I found those, but I can't configure them as buttons at the top of the board

As far as I'm aware you can't configure them as buttons; they appear as checkboxes on the board

Hello @pieter thijs
Welcome to the Community !
Quick Filters is a functionality for Software project Company Managed than Team Managed project board. Team Managed project doesn't have a configurable board, only a dedicated board.
Suggestion would be: Create a KANBAN board having filter as project=TEAM_MANAGED_KEY and you can do the stuff like software project with team project data.

Hello,
Thank you for the quick response!
The project I am working in is a software project.
But I guess you mean the difference between company managed vs team managed?
So I would have to set up a company managed software project instead?

Yes, Software project -> Company managed, and other as Team Managed.
Generally, I say Team Managed project as Work management or business type project, hence I do say Software was company managed and rest as above.
