I want to send email to case owner (in salesforce) when issue update

When issue update in jira, I want to notify (in the email) all the cases owners (in salesforce), that their  cases related to this issue.

Hey @Yehoshua Krakowski ,

You can accomplish this through Exalate in two ways:

  1. You create an issue per case in Jira.
    1. Link them to a parent issue in Jira
    2. Set it up so, IF parent issue = solved THEN child issues = solved
    3. Status updates are sent to all cases
    4. IF notifications are already set in Salesforce, they will receive the notifications.
  2. You can link multiple cases to one Jira issue under the Exalate configuration. But you will need to manually do this every time you want to assign multiple cases to one issue (Not recommended)

The question becomes - how do you determine the emails of case owners? Ideally you could add them as Watchers assuming they are Jira users. Otherwise you could use Automation to email them if you can capture their emails in a custom field.

Thanks for you reply ,  they aren't JIRA users , I new in JIRA and I need to know the basic ,how to do Automation ,send email etc

I am not familiar with that tool. If you want to know more about automation I would refer you to the documentation - automate-your-jira-cloud-processes-and-workflows 

It is generally pretty straightforward to use automation until you get into the more complex areas. The key Issue here is that you need to have a way of recording the emails into a custom field that you create in Jira. Once you have this custom field you can use it within the automation to email the addresses that are recorded in that custom field.
