ISSUES: Workflow: "There are no incoming transitions to this status." Error message

I am trying to create a rather simple workflow, yet I keep getting a "There are no incoming transitions to this status" error message (step "Mitigation Implement" highlighted in RED as an error by jira in the 3rd image.  What is the cause of the error? How do I resolve it?

Looking at the diagram there does appear to be an incoming Transition named "Make it so", but that transition is not showing up in the text description of the workflow.

Have you tried removing that transition and then adding it again?

Can you show us the Triggers, Conditions, Validators, and Post Functions for that transition?

I have no trigger Validators ot Post Functions.

I have tried multiple times removing different transitions and states.

Sometimes Jira is just too buggy to fight with so I'm giving-up in despair on trying to implement this.

If you are not an Administrator for Jira I recommend that you contact you Jira Administrator and ask them to open a support ticket directly with Atlassian.
