If I create a Release in Advanced Planning, will that Release be added to my normal Board as well?

Will creating Releases in Advanced Planning automatically create them in the boards that I am using as Issue Sources once I save changes in the Advanced Planning UI? Or will the Releases created in Advanced Planning just show in Advanced Planning?

As long as you create that release linked to a project and then save the changes you make in your plan to Jira, yes it will.
