If i am closing user story all the defects linked to that story should be closed

Hi Team,

My requirement is if i am closing any user story all the defects/issues which are linked to that story should be closed automatically.

Can you please explain how it can be done using Jira Misc work flow extensions plugin.

Can you please let me know whether it is possible by using JWT plugin.

I am able to close only one linked issue, if they are more than one linked issue (eg 2 defects are linked to user story) its not working.

Here i have done using postfuctions & i implemented transition issue by JWT.

Aha! I'm working on JIRA Server. I check out cloud documentation and see you configure it correctly.

Please check for:

1- Done Status are available in the workflow for all linked issues

2- There is a transition to the Done status from the current status of all issues

3- All condition/Validator on the transition to Done for all linked issues could be satisfied when you close the story.

Edit Story workflow and add Transition related issues (JMWE add-on) to the closing transition of it. You should have a closing transition from any status for linked issues to Close all of them when you close stories. If you need any further question let me know.

I provide a solution based on your request that you said you use JMWE.

I didn't have JWT and I should install it. Do you have to use JWT?
