Hi all,
I was moving issuses to another project. One of the fields (description) was obligatry and I had to wrote something to move them, because in previouse projects some of issueses did not have it. When I did it comes out that all of the moving issues had changed.
Thanks,
Did you do it through a bulk change?if yes I am afraid you lost your data.
Since you are a server user. You can check with your sys admin the backup. But even this approach you have to be careful as you don't want to restore without making sure that your users don't lose their work since the latest backup.
If you have any questions let me know.
Best,
Fadoua
I am assking, because there was written that only issuese where has to be written it will be updated and there were the field was okay will stay without changes.

During migration one of the stages this window appeared with a field to be completed - I entered the draft description there. I thought it would be updated for those which don't have it at all, and not for everyone migrated.

Can you help me out with identifying the missing data ..??
Actually I've been given the task of data validation after jira server to cloud migration. So for example if Ithere are10 projects then I have to check how many projects are there after migration. If the count is less than which projects are missing. And in the projects present is there any data missing.
So basically i hvae to identify the data missing.
Please can you help me out.
