Image editor feature gone?

Few months back i can edit the image once it's uploaded to JIRA. Drawing and adding text on top of the uploaded image greatly help to express what i wanna show the enhancement for particular tasks.

But how come the recent uploaded images are not allowed to edit? it's only showing the zoom in/out button.

Testing on my local site and also searching for similar cases, I didn’t find anything that mentions this feature, so I wonder if you were using an add-on or even a browser extension that would add this option when uploading images to Jira. 

I tested here using Firefox and Chrome. Was it working on any browser or a specific one?

Is there any screenshot of when this feature was working?

i doubt it's a chrome extension coz i hardly install extension. I am afraid i can't provide any prove on there "used-to-be" such feature in JIRA, only if i know it will be gone one day lol. For now i jz upload image without edit them, or i will edit before i upload. Just an extra step but at least it wont stop me.
