Import workflow from XML or jwb file

Hi,

I try to move new workflow from a sandbox site to the production site.

Jira cloud allows to export workflow to file as xml or jwb and it works.

I would like to import the workflow to another instance as the suggestion below.

But this option does not exists, the is only one option to import from Atlassian Marketplace.

Any idea how to import the workflow from the file I just exported ?

It does not make sense to have export ability without the option to import it.

Thanks, Gal

Hey Gal,

Another way could be using the Revyz Configuration Manager for Jira tool.

Hi @Gal Fatal

There is an open feature request for this: JRACLOUD-69079

You can try the workaround specified in the issue.

Use the Cloud-to-cloud migration tool

  • Create a new company-managed project
  • Associate any existing workflow you wish to export with this new project
  • Go to <your site name>.atlassian.net/jira/settings/system/migration/dashboard and migrate the single project

@Marc - Devoteam  thanks I voted for the feature request. o me it should be obvious to have import, if you have the option to export..
