Hi all,
I've been completing my usual monthly checks of upcoming changes in Jira and found one that I'm hoping to get some clarification on.
As part of our checks, I will often compare out Sandbox and Prod environments (as they are currently on different release tracks). In our Sandbox, the Add menu has been reduced down to two small boxes with no label
Our current options in our Production environment has labels on these boxes
I'm really hoping that the difference between the Sandbox and Prod (in regards to the boxes being labelled) is a settings difference between the two sites, rather than what we can expect from the upcoming change. Can anyone confirm this?
Hi Kate,
Depending on your release track setup. In general... If your sandbox is receiving updates as soon as they come, then the prod will eventually be the same as well. I'm not sure about this scenario but it's been my experience with other changes. Eventually, Prod will have the same features and changes that was deployed to sandbox.

Thanks Benjamin,
My explanation probably isn't the greatest, but I guess I'm trying to figure out if the loss of the Text from those "add" and "app" boxes is actually from a change in the UX (which is something we really really don't want to happen)?
Completely understand the manner in which changes flow through, but if the difference in appearance is somehow a setting exclusive to the Sandbox, it will save us a lot of pain getting our users to retrain their thinking

Most welcome. It's not exclusive. I have confirm on my setup that the prod has the same icons without the wording just like the sandbox. So, the change is coming.
