Hi there, Antonia.

I believe that you are referring to the In-App & Desktop Notifications for Jira based on the tag added (if it is something else, please let me know). Before we dig deeper into this issue, let us go through some questions below:

  • Can you please check what specific notification are the assignee and the reporter are actually missing?
  • Did you check if the notification is only missing for specific projects / issue types?
  • Can you share the configuration that you have setup on your end so we can see the list of User / Groups / Roles that you have included?

Please keep me posted on this. Thanks.

Hi Ahmad,

actually only user defined in the issue as a watcher get notification by the Add on.

For example: assignee- User A, reporter User C, watcher - User D

--> only User D gets  a notification or a pop-up that the issue ist commented.

Configuration:

Enable Desktop Notifications - on

Users - select all useres

Groups - select all groups

Project roles -select all project roles

Projects - select all projects

I want to test the add-on that is why in didn't contain the configuration.

If a user commented an issue the user automatically becomes a watchers. But is there a comment added by the reporter bevor the assignee commented the issue, the assignee wont become a notification, because the assignee has not yet become a watcher.

On this site there is the information  that the add on "receive in-app and desktop notifications for requests that you are either the reporter, assignee or watcher on the ticket."
