In Backlog, show "Status" on right, not under the key/summary on the left.

In an old team managed project, in the Backlog view, I could get the Status to appear on the right, along with Priority and Assignee.  

New project that is company managed, in the Backlog view, the Status appears on the left, under the key and Summary/Title. 

Is there any way to get the Status to appear on the right, like in the old team managed project?

The short answer is no, you cannot control where the status is displayed on the board.

One follow up question Mikael.  Is there a way to easily change the board to be a board where we can see that status on the right?  Whether that means changing it to a team managed board or whatever.

Yes, if you go to board settings you can change the card layout. You can add up to three fields that you want to see on the board.

Great. I did that. But they show up on the left and not the right. Any suggestions to maybe change the type of board/project it is?

Unfortunately there is no option to control where those fields are showing up...
