In NextGen projects, how do I make sub tasks visible on the board? (along with all other tasks)

Is there a setting to enable sub tasks to be seen on the board? (along with all other issue types). The only setting I can find is the 'group by' but is only available to admins. l

Hi Sarah,

I see that you are looking to be able to see subtasks on a nextgen board.   Currently nextgen users that are not project admins cannot choose a group by setting.  Only admins can do that. 

However if an admin does setup a board to use the group by: subtasks option, then all users that subsequently load that board after the setting change can actually see the subtasks as cards there.

So Yes, non-admins can see the subtasks on the board, however No they can't choose to see them or not.  Next-gen project admins should be made more aware of this fact.  The way they choose to view the board is the same way that other users will view it.

Yes, but it has to be done by someone that is an admin of that project.  As an admin, you can visit this board and then you'll see the group by option.  They can then select to group by Subtasks.  Like this:

But if your account is not an admin of that project, you won't see this Group By: option on the board.

I have the same question,  I want to be able to see sub-tasks when grouped by assignee in the board.   The group by sub-task is not a suitable view when we are discussing individual stories/tasks etc.
