In a JIRA workflow, can i send a notification for the requester's approval??

At the end of the workflow, i want to add a step that asks for the approval of the requester of that ticket.

Hello Monika,

You can configure a custom event and based on that event(using notification scheme) you can send notifications to desired emails. Please go through this URL
