In which situation Kanban board does not show all the issues created for the given project?

aliang March 13, 2020

This is a new project. 46 issues have been created, but only 36 are shown on Kanban. With quick look, I haven't figured out the pattern for the missing ones.

So, why those 10 are not shown on Kanban board?

Thanks a lot

Hi @aliang

I suggest checking these things to find why the issues are not showing:

  • Check the board filter.  Maybe copy it and take over to Issues and Filters to see if you get what you expect.
  • Next, check if there is a sub-filter removing some things
  • Next, if any issues were in a release that has been "released", they drop off

Best regards,

Bill

Thank you Bill. Your answer is so helpful. Those missing ones were marked as Done over a month ago. There were no special action to put those items in "released" before, but based on what you mentioned, looks like there were default action applied which I am not aware.
