Including the "account" field in a JQL filter does not pull up account information to select from

Bob Berndt March 5, 2019

We recently switched from cloud to on prem. With the Jira cloud implementation, selecting the account field and typing in the first few characters would pull up a list of accounts to select from, this is no longer happening with on-prem.

Hi @Bob Berndt

It is possible the functionality you described has not been implemented in Jira server if it came natively bundled with cloud.

I can test this in a while and provide some more feedback.

I just tested this and I do not see the account as a default JIRA Cloud field.

Can you confirm if this is a custom field and also check if the custom field is provided by an add-on or if it is just a standard custom field.

If the later, reindex your JIRA to ensure that your search works correctly. Whereas if the former, check what add-on provided you the field and install the JIRA Server equivalent.
