Incorrect transfer of tasks to a new sprint

Mikhail Chivilev September 7, 2021

There are three green readiness statuses in an agile project workflow. Done, outdated, and canceled.
After the sprint is closed, tasks in the "green" status "done" or "canceled" are not considered closed. When trying to complete a sprint in these statuses, Jira says that these tasks have not been completed. She then suggests moving all of these tasks into a new sprint.
But, if I select the "outdated" status, then the tasks are considered closed and are transferred correctly.
What is not working correctly? How do make it so that the tasks are transferred correctly in any "green" statuses? Thanks

The colour is irrelevant.  All that matters is whether an issue is "done" or not.

Jira's boards define the last column as done, so for something to be done, it needs to be in a status that is in the last column on the board.

You need to map your done, rejected and outdated status into the last column on the board

Thank you! It's working!

That is, only one status can be final? Does the rest of the "green" statuses not affect the completion of the task? How can I make multiple final statuses?

I found how. Thank you again. Need to go to "Project settings > Columns and statuses" and add all final statuses in the final column.

Depends on the board you are using.  Most boards have a configuration for columns that allow you to map many status into one column.  (Again, the colour is utterly irrelevant, it is only the last column on the board that matters)

Some do not - with those non-mapping boards, yes you are stuck, you have to have one single "done" status.

Any statuses that you wish to be considered complete in a sprint must be in the right most column. The color or status category does not result in completion otherwise.

but the final statuses are "green". it is in the picture
