Inline edit is disabled for Due date field in view issue screen ?

Hi,

I am not able to edit Due date field in the view screen since i upgraded to jira 7 from 6. With jira 6 i was able to edit i issue view itself.

I have edit permissions and schedule issue permission.

The field is present in all the 3(Create, Edit and view) screens.

Still not able to edit the field in the issue view. I am only able to click  EDIT and update the field in edit screen.

Inline edit is ON in global settings. But when i do mouse hover in an issue for due date it is diplaying as "inline edit is disabled".

Please let me know how to make the field editable in issue view.

I am experiencing the same issue. 

Schedule Issues permissions is set appropriately.

However, when I mouse over the Due Date field, I am not given the option to edit it.

Looks like I solved the issue.

You need to add the "Due Date" field to the screen you are using.

Now you will be able to edit it in any view.
