Hi
I'm trying to import objects into an inheriated children object type tree, but I keep getting this error when trying to import:
There are messages attached to the result
Request failed for storeObject() with tenantId dba9414c7b2ab442e0a19eb99ae93b3cf7! Status: 400, Message: {"errorMessages":[],"errors":{"rlabs-insight-attribute-370":"At least one value must be set"}}
The attribute is the name attribute which is my label, which IS included in my CSV file.
I can't set minimum to 0 on that attribute - which I think should solve the problem, but you can't on your label attribute.
It works smoothly if I import my objects into the parent object type using same file - so my CSV file is ok and ready to be imported.
I found this that does the trick: https://documentation.mindville.com/display/ICV55/Import+into+inherited+structure
Except that we're running the cloud version, which doesn't support this.
So... anything I've missed?
Or is importing into inheriated object types not possible in Insight cloud?
The bug is now fixed and I just updated the ticket https://jira.mindville.com/browse/ICC-39 as resolved and available on Insight Cloud.
Cheers!

Our Insights is still doing this for children object types when they have inherited attributes.

Puya,
Thank you. Still getting the 400 error when the parent is set as abstract and attributes are inherited.
Also, it appears the cloud version does not support moving objects. We are looking to migrate from server. Is this feature coming?

Hi Justin,
I just tried it and it works. Could you please create an account on https://support.mindville.com/ and create a ticket for your issue so the support team can have a look at it, since your use case still has issues? In the same ticket you could also write your question/feature request regarding moving objects.
Good luck!
Best regards,
Puya

Have you possibly received an answer / solution for your question in another way/by another channel?
I run into the same problem so I am curious about the solution.

No, unfortunately I didn't find a solution.
I went the looong way manually creating my objects from scratch again - manually adding the right sub object-types.

@Thomas Friis Slott The problem is solved by Insight, see https://jira.mindville.com/browse/ICC-40

Do you know if this has this been updated in the cloud version?
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212137/insight-asset-management/version-history - suggests not.
I would have asked the question on the Mindville ICC-40 link you provided, but I don't have access to login - is this a private Mindville site?
thanks

And they say it's updated in the cloud version.

Sorry yes, I can view ICC-40 using your link, but I'm not able to comment on it as I don't have a login.
I see it says its available, but I wonder has anyone one confirmed it works?
I only mention because the version history suggests it hasn't been updated since June;
