Installing Jira server Add-ons on Jira Data centre

Hello All,

Jira Server add-ons can be installed on Jira Data centre?

Hey @Bunty 

Yes. Server add-ons can be installed on Jira Data Center however it is not recommend that you do that. 

It could cause some issues with the instance.

Hey Bunty! 

There could be some issues with licensing for the add-on, since Server and Data Center add-ons are priced differently based on licensing. 

"Apps in large-scale Data Center clustered environments experience a different type of load than those in Server environments. Data Center approved apps are tested and proven to perform in such environments."

Hello,

You should go to the Atlassian Marketplace and find the add-on you need.

There must be the sign , that this add-on is compatible to Jira Data Center. Like this:
