Integrating HP ALM and JIRA using REST API

Is there a way to integrate JIRA with HP ALM (Application lifecycle management) using JIRA REST API? If yes, please let me know the steps involved in it. Thank you.

Yes, there is lots of ways to "integrate", but you need to define what you mean by "integrate" before we can tell you a lot.  Whart do you want your "integration" to actually do?

I mean synchronizing them both in order to link the test suits/test cases with the corresponding issues/workflow and whenever a test is run, it should update the workflow (using REST API).
