I'm trying to find an app that I can integrate into JIRA that actually updates the time tracking progress bars for tasks / stories etc... and ultimately rolls time up - I've tried Everhour but doesn't seem to do this or at least sync with JIRA - only the manual time entry in JIRA updates tasks progress etc... but its limited - wondered if anyone had any suggestions for third party apps that can record time / or enter via an extension and actually update progress and actuals with data recorded in this way so that you can see progress in a plan view or against the parent of the task like the way manual time in jira works. thanks Alistair.
From our side, we can propose Clockwork apps (free and pro) that boost the time tracking capabilities of Jira with flexible timesheet reports, automatic time tracking and set of other features.
Cheers,
Jack
thanks Jack for your reply - I'll check out Clockwork for sure.
I mean the Tim tracking progress bar - and then when you look at a plan view portfolio you would see the time logged in the third party app... the attached is only picking up time manually entered into Jira directly - not the time we've logged into Everhour if that makes sense? apologies not an expert.

this looks like what I'm after in Clockwork thanks... time is stored in Jira work log so you can still log work manually and use Jira reporting tools

Got it.
So, every app that logs time to Jira worklog will give you that (including Clockwork).
The panel from your screenshot is rendered by Jira so it will be updated correctly if time is stored in Jira.
You simply need to avoid apps storing time elsewhere.

Jack
