Our company has two separate instances of Jira Cloud and one BitBucket Cloud instance.
I found documentation on how to integrate Instance A of Jira to Instance A of Bitbucket Cloud and we were successful.
But we cannot integrate Instance B of Jira to Instance A of Bitbucket. Do they have to share the same URL (be on the same instance)?
I am admin for both instances but cannot figure out how to link these two via DVCS Integration.
Please assist
Hello @Katherine Kokenes
When you say you can't integrate Instance B of Jira, can you tell us what steps you are executing and where you are getting blocked? Providing a link to the document you are referencing would also be helpful.
Hello @Trudy Claspill
I went to Jira, to the Admin panel, and the DVCS accounts / Integration page. Selected the link BitBucket to Cloud Workspace, but that only created a new instance of BitBucket in the new instance of Jira.
Our company has an older (still Cloud) instance of Jira and BitBucket and that's the BB I want to link to from the new instance of Jira Cloud.
Of course I don't see the older repositories in the newly created instance that I linked.
These were the steps I was following - https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/connect-bitbucket-cloud-to-jira-software-cloud/
Thank you.
