I would like to go to YYYY/MM/DD, and have been eyeballing the jira.date.picker.java.format
property and jira.date.picker.javascript.format
property. Do both of these need to change the visible date format?
Here is the link on various date formats supported in Jira and how they can be modified

@jhensley , you'd need to open:
Administration > System > Look and Feel >Date/Time Formats

Look at the advanced settings to configure the date/time pickers

But be careful!
