Hi,
My scenario is when user story is closed, all the linked issues (task, defect) should also be closed automatically.
I have tried using JWT plugin, i have inserted postfunction, but that post function is working when only one linked issue is there, if there are more linked issues (eg 2 to 3 defects). its working.
Could any one please respond & resolve it.
Hey @seethamraju ,
thank you for your question!
As the JWT for Jira Cloud app is pretty new, some functions like transitioning multiple issues are currently not available. I have forwarded your feedback to our product management team as a feature request. Be sure, that we are currently working on reducing the gap between cloud and server.
Cheers,
Julian

Hi @seethamraju - have you looked at the Automation For Jira add-on? You might can do it with that one.

Hi
Could you give me the name of the post function related to this picture? I could not find any in the JWT plugin similar to this.

Aha! I'm working on JIRA Server. I check out cloud documentation and see you configure it correctly.
Please check for:
1- Done Status is available in the workflow for all linked issues
2- There is a transition to the Done status of the current status of all issues
3- All conditions/Validators on the transition to Done for all linked issues could be satisfied when you close the story.

Please refer above comments from @Julian Riedinger [Decadis AG] . Seems that feature is not available in JWT. they were trying to implement this scenario.
Thanks,
Raju
