Hello,
Can someone help me with this rule?
I want to delete executions that match specific criteria. I created the rule with the "Scheduled" trigger.
For now, I set the value "every 6 minutes", but actually it's planned to run the rule every day, not 6 minutes. This is just for a test. Anyway, the rule doesn't work. I tried to wait and check the results, and also run the rule manually, but the outcome is the same - executions aren't deleted. I cannot find what's wrong here. The audit log is also empty. Can someone advise how to fix it?
Hello @Marta Hoshko
Welcome to the community.
WARNING: when you delete issues they are permanently deleted. They don't go to a "trash" can from which they can be restored. Are you absolutely sure you want to irrevocably delete issues? We generally advise setting the Status of the issue to a Done/Disregard value instead.
The problem is stated in the message in the audit log. "No related issues that have been updated since the last time this rule executed could be found."
Look for a checkbox on the Trigger definition that says "only include issues that have changed". Make sure that is unchecked.
Yes, the checkbox was on. I unchecked and reran the rule.
He-he, it works, finally🤩
Thank you so much!
Regarding deletion, yes, no doubts. We don't want to store these results. The idea is to delete these executions cause we don't use historical data anyway.
Many thanks for your quick response!
