Is it possible to disable default "comments" field in a screen?

I created a screen that opens when an issue transitions the workflow. I'd like to remove the default "comments" field but I can't find how.

Is this not possible?

Hello,

You can not remove it out of the box.

You would need a plugin.

For example, you could use the Power Scripts add-on:
