I own a team-managed project and I need to enable a permission type which automatically allows issue assignees to be able to edit and transition the issues they are assigned to (and only the tickets they are assigned to).
It seems that once someone has an agent role, they are able to edit every single ticket in the board and I want to avoid that.
I've read a few things on the permission schemes but I can't find them in company-managed projects so perhaps this feature is not available in team-managed projects?
Hi Sergio,
That is not possible with Team-managed projects. And it is not a straight forward implementation either for Company-managed projects as related to controlling the editing of individual fields.
@sergio.peschiera in team managed project, it is possibble to restrict workflow transition to a specific role but it's not possible to restrict editing fields.
In company-managed projects it is possible to achieve both things you are looking for.

Hello Marcin,
Yes, I was aware that I could restrict transitions but I was hoping it could also work for editing fields. Also, I don't want to have to grant access to everyone that could eventually become an assignee to the project role. So I guess I'll have to create a company-managed project instead.
