Can we use one workflow for Spikes, Tasks and Sub-Tasks and will that work correctly on the board?
The short answer is yes. If you want all the issue types to have the same options for Status, and there are no differences in pre-conditions, validators, and post-functions, then you can use one workflow for different issues types.
