×Many web browsers show possible input data list when entering data into the field.
This list obscures the captcha image, which is very annoying when logging in to JIRA.
Is it possible to place this image on the right side of the field so it is visible when entering text?
Placing images above the input field would also be a good solution.

Not sure how it looks when you are facing issue but I am pretty sure that Atlassian would not implement solution for that quickly so we have to look for alternatives.
Maybe you can try to change how the login gadget looks like by editing it

or manipulate this via CSS (after inspecting CAPTCHA id) so that it would appear on different place for you. Those are the only workarounds that I have in my mind right now that might help.

Thank you for the quick reply.
For now, I will change the xml file
I know that this is not a critical error and will not reach the top of the priority list.
I hope that JIRA developers will consider introducing this small change in the future
PS. I will provide the picture when I encounter the problem again.
