Is it possible to use " Jira Software " running on my own server and connect Slack to this

I am trying to find out how i can connect Slack to our Jira Software servers..

I am not sure this can work....

Hello @Oscar 88cashbet 

It's pretty straight forward to integrate both Jira server and slack Just make sure both can reach out to each other i.e. there is no firewall/network configuration which might block their communication because that's the case with lot of hosted Jira versions that they can't talk to outside applications due to network configurations.

Once network stuff is sorted out then just follow these steps

Hi I and thank you for your advice..  I  have tried this... and setup looks pretty forward.. but no connection is made..

Have in mind i am not using Jira Cloud.. But Jira Software running on my own server..

In JIra Server i have created a user named @jirabot and gave it a password.

So i went true the whole procces but still i dont think it works...

I have found how it works.. as we are running on our own server.. i had to use the server version for this.. then install a webhook.. now all is working perfect..
