Hi all,
After confirming that the new issue view does not support some of the features available in the old view (specially field tabs), the question is: will the old issue view remain available? If not, is there any info about when will it be removed?
BTW: for those using tabs around there, do you have any idea on how to go on without tabs using configurations of the new issue view?
Hi Ramon,
For now, there are no plans to remove the old view. The new issue view has a lot of features missing and they are working on all the necessary features that customers need.
On this feature request, you can find more than 90 sub-tasks with all features that are important for everyone. You can vote and watch for the features that are important for you.

I don't know how many years you are using Jira, but if you were using Jira before "New Jira Experience", maybe you remember that administrators received an email informing when the old Jira would be disabled, so if they disable the old view, administrators will receive a notification in advance.

Angélica
Nice to hear that, thanks for confirming.
Indeed, we received an email notification telling us the good things about the new issue view roll-out. It didn't say anything about stopping the previous (old) view but it made us think about that possibility.
Hope that tabs and print options are included somehow in the new view.

@Angélica Luz does your answer apply to Confluence as well?

Hi Sorin,
No, this is just for Jira cloud that has the new issue view.
