I miss unassigned tickets in the Service Project queue created for our Help Desk many times due to being on a call or working on an open ticket. I have to refresh the page several times, and before you know it, BAM! I have five tickets I have not assigned. Does anyone know if Jira offers a push notification?
I can always go and look at my inbox. However, it cuts my efficiency time. It would be easier to have a push notification for an unassigned ticket.
I am still very new to JIRA. Any suggestions?
Thank you!
Hi @Yuvia Coleman and welcome to the party :)
You can utilize Automation to send a push notification (mail) to you. Just have it run on Create and have the criteria be some JQL that fits and then the action is to send an email to you.

Thank you, KGM.
My apologies. I meant to say I wish there were a web push notification while I have the queue open. For example, you receive a web push notification in the Outlook web app for a new email. I have to constantly refresh the Jira page to view new tickets in our queue or updates.

Hi @Yuvia Coleman again
You can create a dashboard with gadgets and configure the gadget to auto refresh every 15 min. Would that be the solution?

I believe that may work. I will try it this week.
Thank you, KGM :)

Hello KGM, It's still going. I was unable to create a widget in the dashboard for all unassigned tickets in the queue. I had to focus on other projects. As soon as it works, I will b sure to mark your answer as correct.
Thank you, and have a wonderful day.
