Is there a way in jira to create a word /pdf document of certain fields using automation?

Hello All,

Is it possible to create a word /pdf document when certain fields are filled out on an issue using an automation(either via manual trigger/ automated trigger)? 

I'm aware that export action isn't available. Any possible workarounds to achieve this?

There is no direct workaround in Jira vailable.

One option might be to send the data through a web request to an external system to do the PDF conversion.

You could use an external service like https://craftmypdf.com/pdf-generation-api/ (no affiliation, not vetted).
