Is there a way to apply specific content within a description of a Jira ticket by default? For example a template for one of the issue types?

Hi @Vera Valshonok

Yes on Team-Managed projects you can navigate to the appropriate issue type in project settings:

https://YOURINSTANCE.atlassian.net/jira/software/projects/PROJETKEY/settings/issuetypes/

Find your issue type, click on Description, and type in your default text.  Then click Save Changes.

Hi @Vera Valshonok - Did you update the bold items with your company's instance/your project key?

If that doesn't work, just navigate to Project Settings >> Issue Types >> The Issue Type you wish to set a default Description value
