Is there a way to display list of components which do not have issues in a scripted field?

Hello,

I would like to make my user to choose a component value which is not being used by any other issues. 

My thought is if there is a way to display the list of components which are already available and has no issues in a scripted field, so that user when selecting the component knows which one to choose.

Or any other way to make sure only one open issue assigned to a value at a time.

Could you provide more details about your use case? From your description it looks like you wanna show only those components that have no issues associated with them yet. Aren't you going to run out of "free" components very fast that way?

My use case is to have only one issue at one point of time assigned to a component. I have only limited component around 10 and they will be reused and allocated to one team at a time.
