Hi,
I want to know if there's capability in Jira (or plug in available) to hide story points from being displayed in an issue/backlog or alternatively limiting who can see the points?
Background on this question:
I currently complete preliminary estimates for upcoming stories with our Tech Lead for planning purposes. We then review the stories with the extended scrum team at recurring refinement sessions. When reviewing the stories, the story points are visible introducing a bias to the estimates session, hence wanting to know if there's a way to hide and/or control visibility.
Thanks,
Hello @Lachie Wallman ,
The following method can hide the story point field in the Backlog

Thanks for your response @Ollie Guan
This partially answers my question. Your recommendation allows me to remove story points from the backlog itself, however it's still viewable in the individual issue.
However, I'm still looking for a way to limit the visibility of story points in the backlog and individual issues to our extended team to avoid preliminary estimates from being viewed and introducing a bias to refinement sessions.
