Is there a way to prevent users from creating stories in a project without removing the issuetype?

We have alot of legacy stories in our project.  Rather than move them to a different project, I would like to block new stories from being created in the project.

Hi @CC

If you have ScriptRunner installed, you can use Behaviors to show only Epics and Initiatives for all users and show Stories/Tasks/Bugs for the members of specific groups.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Hi @CC

You can adjust the permission schemes to prevent people from having permissions to create issues in certain projects. Check out this discussion for more details.

I only want to prevent Stories/Tasks/Bugs from being created.  Everyone can create Epics and Initiatives.
