Is there a way to setup non-Jira users to write issues (briefs)?

Hi there, I help run a marketing department and we are looking at streamlining our current Jira setup. There is sometimes need for people outside of Marketing (some also don't have a Jira account) to create 'briefs' into the Marketing team. One of the add-ons we have been using is 'Raley Forms' BUT this only works for people who have an Atlassian account plus it's really clunky and not user friendly.

Does anyone have any recommendations of how they have done this within the default Jira Cloud setup before? Or is there a free add-on that would support something like this? (ideally don't want to be paying for another add-on). It needs to work for those with and without a Jira account.

Thanks in advance.

Jules

Hi @Jules ,

Is the functionality of Issue Collectors an option for your use case?

See https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/use-the-issue-collector/

@Marco Brundel thank you for that. I haven't heard of Issue Collectors so this could be an option. I will look into it further thanks again 👍

@Marco Brundel I've since discovered the 'Forms' function in Business projects - looking through the community posts into if/when this will be implemented into software projects also, they seem great!
