We are migrating from ServiceDesk to JIRA Kanban board. For now, we need to work in both systems as the rest of our org is staying on ServiceDesk for the time being. Is there an automated way to add the web link for a ServiceDesk task to an existing JIRA issue?

You can try jira automation and create the js ticket when the service desk ticket is created and then link them.
