Is there any simple option to hide done tasks by default?

When I open a task it lists down all sub-tasks and I manually have to hide done tasks!

Is there any simple option/automation that would reverse it meaning opening a task should hide done tasks by default?

Not that I know of unfortunately. The filter only remains active whilst you're on that Issue's screen (it seems).

I don't think such functionality exists. Maybe there is an app however which you can use instead of this native functionality.
