Question for anyone who is using the Issue Checklist Free add-on...
I have noticed some interesting behavior. Wondering if there is a bug or if we are just not using the add-on properly.
When I add a new item, the Updated field (Jira card) changes. Right after I add a new item to a checklist, it will show, "Updated 5 seconds ago."
When I remove an item, the Updated field does not change. (Seems like a bug.)
Also, whether I add an item or remove an item, I do not see anything in the Activity Log (Dashboard widget).
I am new to Jira, so maybe activity within an add-on never appears in the Activity Log. I don't know.
Any guidance would be appreciated! Thank you!
Hi @Glen Fergo,
I'm Jack from the Issue Checklist team.
Could you share screenshots presenting the problem. That will be easier to understand what you can (or cannot) see.
Thanks!
Jack
Hello @Jack Hunter [HeroCoders]
I will do my best to explain.
We have a Jira Card. It shows Updated 2 hours ago. It has a checklist.
I add a few items to the checklist and now Updated shows 25 seconds ago.

Hello @Jack Hunter [HeroCoders]
So now I look at the card and it shows Updated 5 minutes ago.
I delete three items from the checklist. I expect the Updated value to change to something like 20 or 30 seconds ago.
Instead, it shows 6 minutes. Deleting items has no effect on the Updated timestamp.

Also, when I view the Activity Log, it does not show any of the changes I just made.
Add five ToDo items... nothing.
Delete three ToDo items... nothing.

Thank you for the details. We will investigate the updated date difference for the "add" and "delete" operations.
When it comes to the activity log, we cannot integrate with it directly. However, I think that you might get what you expect when the custom field integration is enabled.
This way, you will see Activity Log entries, and all the operations will update the date properly.
Let us know if that helps.
Cheers,
Jack
