When we share an issue from our JIRA Cloud instance, it goes to the users personal email but when the user replies to the share email, it goes back to JIRA and not the user's personal email address.
In our JIRA Server instance, we didn't have this problem as the reply to email address was the user's personal email address.
How do we match this behavior in our JIRA Cloud instance so the reply to email address is the user's personal email address versus JIRA email address?
Hi @Nicole Ritter In Jira cloud there is no option to provide the reply to option.
When an email is sent, it uses the email address mentioned in your notification setting. However, you can use an email from your domain to send the emails from Jira, using this option.
Also, if you want to process incoming emails in Jira, you can go for this option.
I was trying to do this same thing. I tested changing the notification email for a project, but it looks like the "Share" feature does not use that email address. It seems to use the "Default Cloud Mail Server" address under Settings > Incoming Mail.
