When attempting to upload issues in bulk, I am unable to due my name and others in my team not being considered a 'user'. I have a Jira user where I upload individual issues and therefore feel I have an account. Any tips on how to resolve this issue?

@Lewis Gordon Welcome to community.  What are you using to define the user as the reporter?   Are you using their email address?  You will need to use the email address or the Atlassian ID  I would suggest using the email address.  You can learn more here about importing issues.  Import data from a CSV file | Atlassian Support

I am facing the same issue.
I am migrating issues from
site1.atlassian.net/jira/servicedesk
to
site2.atlassian.net/jira/software
and even though I invited users they are not recognised.

To export, I use the search field in site1 and then Export Excel CSV (all fields) button.

I opened "Jira Service Desk.csv": it contains First name and Last name without emails.

To import I used:

Running the CSV file import wizard

Select Filters > Advanced issue search.
Click more ( ••• ) > Import issues from CSV.

I am not an admin, so I cannot use other import methods.

@Ænжei Theodorko on a software project you need to have your administrator add the users.
