On our Jira Development Workflow, we want our client to transition a card from a "Final Approval" status to "Ready for deployment to production" status. The post-function resolution field is then set to "Done". The final status from "Ready for deployment to production" status to "Done" is completed after a production release.
If the card is set to "Ready for deployment to production" status and the sprint is closed before the development work is released to production, the card is then moved to the next sprint.
Why this is an issue is due to the fact that we need our points to be included in a sprint where it was signed off and not in the sprint when it was deployed to production.
Is there any way to keep the card in the closed sprint without transitioning to the "Done" status first? Or what would be the best way to achieve the same?
Hello @ruanda_grobler ,
If you are closing the sprint when some issues are in "Ready for deployment to production".
Then the Atlassian Echo system treat this as Not Done.
If you want to Make this is also same as Done.
Go to Board Settings --> Columns --> Under DONE column Place "Ready for deployment to production".
After this, when you closing the sprint , the system Treat ""Ready for deployment to production" as Done.
does your "Ready for deployment to production" Status is in Green color like as "DONE". ?
Can you please share your Board Columns screenshot. Which will helps more.
Thanks.
